We have been blown away with the messages of support and offers of help from you all, you have no idea what your kind words and friendship means to us as we were migrating our workshop from the old place in Kinnego to our new home.

We have to say a massive word of thanks to our wonderful clients each of whom has been very supportive while we were moving. we know many of you have been waiting to get your bikes worked on, but thankfully we are now operational so we will be in touch very soon.

A huge amount of work has gone into relocating and refitting the workshop, but we are there now and oh my, was it ever worth it.

For the first time I am operating in a nice warm workshop, no leaks and no wind blowing through the walls and I have had the opportunity to lay out the workshop to suit my specific needs.

SERVICE BOOTH In one room, we have a dedicated service bay with all the specialist tools at hand needed to service Harley Davidsons, BSA’s and a plethora of other bikes. My diagnostic suite is all in one place, easily accessible for servicing, warranty and diagnostic work. I will endeavour to keep this area clean and have promised myself to sweep up after every job…we will see how that goes!

FABRICATION AREA I now have a separate area for fabrication and building bikes. This is where all the cutting, grinding, welding, forming and fabrication takes place. Having all my fabrication equipment in the one place which will make my life much easier moving forward. This area won’t be so clean, however the mess from fabrication will be contained in the one area and will not cross contaminate the service area, giving me the freedom to fabricate and service at the same time whereas before, I had to clear the previous workshop when I was in the middle of a build. I have one build coming to a close and it has been the perfect test for the new fab-room.

MULTI-FUNCTION AREA Then we have a nice open multi-function area where we can carry out general works which is big enough to store some bikes and still have enough workspace for general tasks. We are so happy with our new workshop in which we have just finished our first week of jobs. The benefit of having everything to hand in the specific areas has been fantastic. I makes working much easier, taking less time to do the jobs and no distractions.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to bring your bike over, we have two drop off points.

1. Sands Marine (next door to our old shop in Kinnego Marina).

2. KD Kars in Gilford.

Just pull up to the front and drop your keys in with the guys and we will get the bike collected from there.
